Came during the week at noon and i must say the food was definitely on point. Forgot to take the picture of the crab n shrimp dip and chicken quesadillas. All for all our best visit and not overcrowded like busy hours.

Downtown location is not great at all, it’s better to go to the one in Sugarland.
Open in Google MapsLove it love it love it! I sat at the bar with a girlfriend while visiting Houston. The fried fish, Mac n cheese and the chowder were so yummy! The bartender was great! What a great food spot in Houston!

We went to the soft opening of the Bungalow last night and it fabulous. We have been going to this spot for a couple of years and have always enjoyed it, but their new location is perfect! Great atmosphere, fabulous service and remarkable food!! I had the Sea Bas which some of the best I have ever had, the Fried Lobster was an amazing presentation and soooo Good. We can't wait to go back! Thank you for great evening!!
Open in Google MapsThe new Bungalow location is beautiful and gives a very grown and sexy vibe upon entry! The male and female hosts were both incredibly sweet and welcoming, and they accommodated our request for a table change. Our waitress, Kim, was also lovely, took the time to explain the menu, and checked on us throughout the evening. The Lily Pad cocktail was a 10/10—we ordered about four because they were THAT good! Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. The brûlée corn was incredibly soupy, the Wagyu meatballs no longer had the jerk seasoning and kick we loved at the old location (they tasted like regular meatballs with barbecue sauce), and the fried lobster tail was bland, overwhelmingly breaded, and completely lacking in flavor. We barely touched most of our food, and the mac and cheese was probably the most enjoyable thing we ordered. Our waitress noticed how much food we left and offered to have the manager come speak with us, but he never came over. We were celebrating a birthday and had been asked multiple times what we were celebrating, so the lack of follow-through was disappointing. We weren’t looking for a discount—we paid our bill in full—but a simple acknowledgment of our experience would have gone a long way. The background music also felt a little too subdued compared to the vibe of the old location, though that’s subjective. I recognize this is a soft opening, and some grace is warranted. However, as someone who visited the previous location several times and even celebrated my own birthday there, I’m genuinely disappointed. The ambiance, hospitality, and cocktails are promising, but the food quality and management follow-through need improvement. If you’re a longtime fan of the old Bungalow, I’d recommend adjusting your expectations for now. Unfortunately, I can’t say I’m in a rush to return.

Pizza was great and was served as quickly as possible with how busy it was. They could use a better system to call out orders, it was not very clear!

The food is okay, I saw a couple of employees on their phone and not wash their hands afterwards to serve the food. The place itself is cool and original.

Excellent mix of food available and most of it very good. Service was pretty good too. The music was far too loud, bit that is the type of spot it is trying to be.
Open in Google MapsFood and service was ok, but the smell was so off putting! An awful vomit-like smells made me question if I wanted to eat here (definitely chose my food to go), but the reviews were so high so I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Not worth the wait time. People were nice, but the Wok food was nothing special and NOT worth the wait or price.

Nice ambience ....
Open in Google MapsThis restaurant was amazing! Every single food we ate was spectacular. My girlfriends came to visit me from New York and we were looking for authentic seafood places, and stumbled across this one. I could not recommend this place more. Alex was our waitress and she has been nothing but helpful and provided us such good information with all the foods and backgrounds on the dishes.
